Hi, hope everyone is having a good
week :)
This week I looked into a few
different “technology in education” blogs, and these were the three that I have
decided to follow.
One blog I looked at was iintegratetechnology
This blog is written by a second
grade teacher who shares useful websites and apps to use in the classroom. One
of the posts that I read was about a website called ClassDojo Toolkit. Which is super cool because it has
all sorts of tools that teachers use every day. For example, “Group Maker”
which is exactly what it sounds like. It helps you randomly arrange students
into pairs, threes, fours, or more.
Another blog I looked into was Technology Tailgate.
This blog is a network of technology blogs, that is dedicated to showcasing technology
in the classroom. It is a collaboration of teachers that share ideas and
demonstrate real ways technology is being used in classrooms. One really cool
post that I found was About Eureka Math, which is about a math website that has
all sorts of interesting and useful materials for teaching math.
A
third blog that I looked at was Digitally
Yours....
This blog is about various google
tools/ tricks. For someone like me who is occasionally technologically
challenged this is a super useful site! One of the posts I read was about how
to use google documents with students. It explains how to make copies of “master”
documents in an easy and understandable way, with step by step instructions.
I really enjoyed looking at all
sorts of different blogs and finding new
and creative uses for technology in the classroom :D
